Q: What services do you offer?
A: Private on-leash daily walks, group off-leash playgroups, in-home pet visits, in-home overnight sitting, in-our-home boarding for dogs under 20 lbs., day care, evening care, pet taxi to the groomer, vet and trainer, house sitting, yard pet waste cleanup and dog bathing.

Q: Is there a minimum commitment I have to agree to in order to sign up for services?
A: NO! We understand that not every client has the same schedule. Whether it be using us for pet sitting care when you travel, signing your dog up for our weekend group off-leash playgroups, or everyday use for daily walks, we would love to be of service to you!

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We have been in operation since October of 2008.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes! We are insured through Pet Sitters Associates. Please visit www.petsitllc.com for coverage details.

Q: Are you a licensed and bonded business?
A: Yes, we are licensed through the city of Huntington Beach, CA. We are bonded as well through Liberty Mutual and can provide documentation.

Q: Can you provide references?
A: We have amazing local and verifiable references we would love to share with you at your request.

Q: How do I go about signing up for services with you?
A: First, please call or email us with what services you are interested in and your location. Then, we will go about scheduling your FREE consultation where you and your pet can meet with one of our staff members to answer any further questions you may have and discuss details.

Q: If I want to sign up for daily walks with you, will I get the same dog walker every time I schedule with you?
A: We make every effort to ensure you get the same sitter on an ongoing basis. At Nikki's Pet Services, one of our main goals is to create a bond between your walker/sitter and your pet(s). We want them to associate your care provider with someone they can always feel safe with and loved, even when you are not there. Our sitters are from your neighborhood, which enables them to provide you with highly personalized and efficient service. We are able to provide alternate backup sitters in the event that your primary sitter has an emergency, has fallen ill, or cannot be available for the dates of your request. Any substitutions will be communicated prior to service and are subject to your approval. We recommend all clients to book with their sitter at least two weeks prior to their travel dates to ensure availability.

Q: Do you only care for dogs?
A: Of course not! We also provide care for cats, birds, fish and small mammals.

Q: What areas do you service?
A: We service the areas of Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley and surrounding areas. Pet sitting is also available in Santa Ana and Tustin.

Q: How do you screen your dog walkers or pet sitters?
A: Every staff member is carefully interviewed, criminal background checked, gone through hands on training with experienced staff in the field, and has completed their course on pet first aid and CPR.

Q: What are some of the benefits of using a professional pet care service?
A: In a nutshell, reliability! Aren't your pets worth enough to you to trust them in the hands of someone professional, reliable and experienced? That is the kind of peace of mind we can provide to you. When trying to save a buck by hiring a neighbor or friend, remember that in most cases, you get what you pay for. Q: Are you available on Holidays?
A: Yes! We are available for services on all major holidays! However, availability is limited on more popular holidays and we do encourage all of our clients to book with us at least two weeks in advance.

Q: Can you be available on short notice?
A: Our local staff can be available to you even in short notice. Have an emergency and need to leave within 24 hours? No problem! We know that emergencies happen, that is why we always leave room in our sitter痴 schedules to allow for emergency booking. We do recommend to call us directly rather than emailing to ensure a prompt response.

A: We accept payments in the form of debit or credit via Paypal, cash or personal checks.
